WOMEN’S SOCCER ENJOYS TRIP OF A LIFETIME TO ENGLAND

In the beginning of January, the State University of New York at New Paltz women’s soccer team traveled across the pond to England for an eight-day trip. The group of 27 student-athletes and coaches experienced amazing sights like Buckingham Palace and Big Ben.

During their trip, the team played two hard fought matches against Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and Millwall F.C. Although the results did not reflect their efforts, it was a great and memorable experience especially for seniors Bryce KristallSarah PainterChristine Lacaria, and Eleni Anselmi.

Some of the most unforgettable events were the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, the tour of Hampton Court Palace and the Charlton versus Brighton match.
